Workload Assessment

Workload Assessment

In ordinally language, this refers to the load individuals carry on their own and individually. It normally requires looking at each job, determine the specific outputs per job role, and the time it takes to complete each output. This may be determined in terms of days, hours or minutes. Very repetitive tasks such as stamping or signing letters may have to be distributed along the hierarchical levels or depending on the strategic value, may have to be computerized. In the end, the work load then can be summed up in terms of total number of hours. This followed by a simple arithmetic procedure to determine how many person hours individuals need to complete their job roles. This is then escalated to annual person hours to determine the mathematical number of hours individuals need or use in a year to complete their loads. Where required, a “Time and Motion Study” will be undertaken when individuals work with mechanical gadgets such as graders.
