In simple terms the audit examine in minute detail the work history of individuals in terms of performance from the day they join an organisation to the day of the audit. The auditor, in this case a technically trained individual in skill-oriented competences involving performance and talent management among others. examines individual files, that would normally include periodic appraisals, warning letters, financial and non-financial reward letters, personal career-oriented request letters from the job role performer to the supervisor and vice versa among other communications.
